Salary: £170/week + travel costs

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Ginger Nut Media is a highly established email marketing and lead generation company. Which has recently been named by the National Apprenticeship Service as Virgin Trains Newcomer SME of the Year in the employer category at the National finals. As a company we like to invest in apprentices.


We are looking for a confident individual with excellent communication skills to fill this position.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Aiding in the financial planning and strategy for the company and associated companies.


• Aiding in the planning of communications


• Helping with Finance Strategy


• Liaising with Suppliers and Business providers


• Aiding with communications with client and customer accounts


• Contributing towards developing Ginger Nut's Design projects


• Finance administration


• Credit Control


• Accounts Payable


• Dealing with financial paperwork and filing


• Processing sales invoices, receipts and payment


• Financial Forecasting


• Balancing Accounts


• Checking company bank statements


• Order Confirmation raises


• Purchase order raises


• Management of any company investments or capital reserves


• Research, preparation and submission of budgets


KEY CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:


• Keen and willing to learn


• Team player


• Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow instructions


• Hard-working


REQUIRED:


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Skills in problem solving, organisation and planning


• IT Literate; proficient with Microsoft office applications proficiency, especially Word & Excel


• 5 GCSE's at grade A* to C


• Ability to prioritise


DESIRED:


• Experience working in an office/ business environment


• Someone who has a passion or at least an interest in the industry


• A Levels / AS Levels
