This Apprentice Chef role has arisen at one of our long serving sites with a well-known client in our B&I division. With up to 2200 daily customers on site this is a busy site that demands exemplary service standards.

• Ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect of COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures.

•Be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge, and maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control.

•Support with collecting and checking deliveries as required and placing them in the appropriate storage areas.

•Be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness of all areas in the kitchen and of equipment.

•Provide support to other members of the kitchen and front of house team as required.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Food Production and Cooking Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

On-going training & development with one of the leading UK contract catering companies,this is an excellent opportunity to undertake a Hospitality qualification with an Award Winning Learning Provider. This is a temporary contract for the length of the Apprenticeship.

Experience in a kitchen is essential
