This is a progressive role and as such the individual will have the drive and enthusiasm to succeed in a Civil Aviation Authority regulated enviroment. With exceptional attention to detail coupled with excellent organisational skills, you will be able to communicate and articulate at all levels.

Gain a full understanding of the role and responsibilities of the aircraft maintenance team

Learn the company standards for the preparation and implementation of aircraft maintenence ensuring you meet standards laid down as well as those by the Civil Aircraft Authority (CAA)

Shadow the engineers and remove access panels safely, oil changing, cleaning of spark plugs and cleaning fuselage

Although the Chief Engineer raises all the workpacks and ensures compliance with all the Airworthiness Directives and Bulletins, the candidate would be expected to be able to access all the parts and maintenance manual (computer and web based), write up all work he/she has carried out in the workpacks and learn/operate the stores system

Aircraft parts are strictly regulated and the tracking and traceability is critical
