#9. Heading to careers event? There's nothing to fear.
This week's blog entry is fairly short and sweet. If you're lucky and your school organises a careers event of their own or alternatively, you've been proactive and found one to attend yourself, always aim to make the most of it. We attend around 200 events a year and so often we see students huddled in fear as far away from the companies exhibiting as possible. Don't be them. Go and speak to as many of the exhibitors as possible, even if you think they might not be relevant to you. These people will have given up their day to help you decide what you want to do in the future, use their knowledge to get as much of an insight into the world of work as possible.
Next Week: #10 I volunteer as tribute. Well, sort of.
