The Apprentice will train as a Workshop Engineer and become responsible for the refurbishment of waste balers and compactors used extensively for the recycling of both cardboard and plastics.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship together with the introduction of new equipment and technologies will provide further training & development opportunities.

- Determination to see any task through to a successful conclusion
- An interest and ability for Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering
A minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade 3 or above including English, science and maths.
- Level 2 - Engineering Operative Standard
- Functional Skills if required
Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship delivered over 14 months. Full year spent in company following company training plan completing a portfolio of skills and knowledge evidence. Reflecting the requirements of the Engineering Operative Standard.
