Working for our client who are small town agency based in Kidderminster with a big city mindset! Join a team full of fresh talented individuals & their office dog Rolo.

You will join the team working as a WordPress web developer, where you will take on a mixture of daily duties such as:

Key responsibilities:

  • Content management
  • Adjusting websites that are already being built

Later down the line, your daily duties will eventually involve:

  • Creating projects from scratch using WordPress

Once the apprenticeship is complete, you will be a Level 3 qualified software developer.

Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable. Giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the IT sector.

Future Prospects

Opportunity for the learner to secure a permanent position with the company after the apprenticeship is complete.

Skills Required

  • You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills and a brilliant telephone manner

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role, you ideally would hold a C/4 (or equivalent) grade in both GCSE maths & English, and in three or four other subjects. You would look to have gained a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in IT or have some practical experience with the workings of computers and IT/Software.

Training Provided

You will be enrolled onto the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. The Software Developer (Level 3) apprenticeship contains the following knowledge modules and Microsoft Technological Associate (MTA) certifications:

  • Software Development Context & Methodologies
  • Programming
  • MTA Software Development Fundamentals
  • MTA Database Fundamentals You will attend 3 training courses to help you pass the exams for the 2 knowledge modules and the MTA
  • Software Development Context & Methodologies
  • Programming Using Database Fundamentals

These qualifications are globally recognised industry certifications and form the significant building block of software development knowledge for anybody looking to start a career in software development.
