Job Description

Are you a web wizard looking to make a start in your career? Remit are recruiting on behalf of our client Spot2Spot to find a talent they can nurture into a professional web developer.



  • Working with the project team to design and maintain websites for our own business and projects alongside those of our customers
  • The main responsibilities will be to produce high quality websites that promote and advertise the projects and businesses as required
  • Design and implementation of Websites
  • Liaising with clients and service providers


Basic knowledge of:
•    HTML
•    CSS
•    WordPress CMS

Desirable but not essential:

Knowledge of:
•    JavaScript
•    PHP
•    FTP / SSH
•    Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)

Future Prospects

A full time permanent position will offered to the apprentice upon full completion of their apprenticeship.

  • Level 3 Software Development Technician
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required

A Software Development Technician is typically w part of a team that builds simple software components for web, mobile or desktop applications, as part of larger software development projects. This apprenticeship will help you to interpret design requirements for discrete components of the project, typically implementing code, which other team members have developed, to produce the required component before testing that this component meets its intended functionality.On successful completion, apprentices can apply for entry onto the Register of IT Technicians.

Apprentices must achieve each of the Ofqual-regulated Knowledge Modules, as summarised below.
Knowledge Module 1: Software Development Context and Methodologies (for level 3 Software Development Technician)
Knowledge Module 2: Programming (for level 3 Software Development Technician)
