Job Description

Our manufacturing and warehousing apprenticeships are a launchpad for a career in engineering, manufacturing and related industries. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Health and safety within a manufacturing environment
  • Communicating and working effectively within a manufacturing environment
  • Working relationships and individual rights and responsibilities within a manufacturing environment
  • Application of workplace organisation
  • Work related problem solving techniques
  • Operate and handle equipment safely and efficiently as required for their role, such as Forklift Trucks, High Reach Trucks, Powered Pallet Trucks or Man Up Trucks; manoeuvre vehicles in restricted spaces; safely use and position vehicle fitted equipment such as mirror requirements
  • Use correct equipment and procedures to record receiving or stowing goods; produce relevant paperwork or labelling processes
