What will the apprentice be doing?
This role is working within a team in our busy Hatfield warehouse undertaking the following duties:
Loading and unloading materials onto transport (some heavy lifting sometimes required)
Manage stock inventories
Ensure the warehouse and workstations are kept clean and tidy in line with company policies on safety and quality
Provide basic customer service to visitors and staff to ensure consistent experience
Performs routine tasks set by manager to ensure service is not impacted
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The training will be given throughout the programme by your team leader, supported by your Apprentice tutor. You will learn by using a mixture of online training, hands on and practical training in the workplace.
The qualification will support you to learn the duties and key responsibilities required to be competent in the role and you will be given time to undertake the learning required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There is no guarantee of a permanent job at the end of the apprentice contract. However successful completion of the apprenticeship programme will mean it is highly likely that you will be offered a full-time position at Computacenter. There are many opportunities within Computacenter that you could progress on to, this could just be the start of something amazing!
