Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
Our Warehouse & Logistics Apprentices will receive practical training in our end to end supply chain process and be involved in organising the storage and distribution of goods to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location, on time, every time.
If you love working as part of a team, have a passion for analysis, attention to detail and want the chance to help us innovate our supply chain then this is the apprenticeship for you.
Working in Supply Chain means working closely with other areas of the business so requires good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Typical tasks include:
• Loading and unloading materials and finished products
• Stock management
• Supporting logistics scheduling
• Operating a fork lift truck
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will be Block release in Year 1 and Day release in further years.
The apprentice will gain a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification as part of this programme.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completing this two year apprenticeship you will be guaranteed a full-time role with Bakkavor.
