This is a new position within the company as we are looking for someone to train within our industry and have a long-standing career within our organisation. Initially the role will require you to assist someone daily and learn essential skills from their experience and expertise. You will be required to carry out general labouring roles such as site clean-up and assisting with deliveries. As your skills improve you will move onto installing ductwork in new apartments which will be overseen by a site supervisor.
You will learn the skills to
- Read and understand construction drawings to ensure you can install the ventilation ductwork to the correct specification
- Install ventilation systems to new build residential apartments
- Gain skills in installing numerous types of ventilation systems comprising of both metal and plastic ductwork
- General maintenance of MVHR units
We run several projects around London so you may be required to travel to different sites when required. You will report to the site supervisor daily and receive instructions for the day’s work. All works are subject to deadlines, so we work in a fast-paced environment to ensure all targets are met and to a high standard.
We promote from within the company therefore the sky is the limit. You will be working towards the position of site supervisor or contracts manager. This will mean you will oversee projects from start to finish and report to the director.
Due to working on construction sites for insurance purposes you will need to be over the age of 18.

5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and maths. A full driver’s license is not essential but desirable.

Alongside experienced staff members you will learn the skills necessary to become a successful ventilation engineer. We carry out regular appraisals to ensure you are constantly heading in the right direction and you can highlight any areas you would like to develop further.
You will also attend South Thames College for your off the job training.
