What will the apprentice be doing?
Our 18-month programme working closely with the underwriting divisions as you manage the end-to-end administrative workflow, processing underwriting risks and other vital insurance information that the underwriters need to write their business. You’ll build relationships with the underwriting teams and have the opportunity to work with a number of divisions, enabling you to develop breadth of expertise across the department.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
At the end of the programme, you will achieve your Chartered Institute of Insurance Certificate in Insurance and your Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeshipp. In addition to this, apprentices will also receive on the job training as they support the Underwriting teams in London. Training will be delivered both online and in person at your office; you'll roughly spend one day per week on training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
All of our roles are permanent from day one and so, after you have finished your qualification, you'll have the opportunity to continue your qualifications to Diploma and Advanced Diploma level as you progress your career in the Underriting Support team.
