Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual to join the team at Lupine. You will be working alongside colleagues to assist in managing tours and bookings.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

To assist in the day to day running of the office while learning more about the travel industry and what goes on behind the scenes to create/manage a successful tour.

Main Duties:

  • Taking bookings from customers.
  • Dealing with any customer/tour enquiries via email and responding to them all in a timely and informative manner.
  • Answering calls from customers in a professional manner.
  • Collecting documents/important information from our customers.
  • Liaising with the Tour Managers to ensure all tour documents are created, up to date and ready to send out to relevant parties.
  • Work with the finance officer to ensure all payments for bookings are done correctly and within the set timescales.
  • Take on any adhoc tasks as needed.
  • Assist the team with day to day running of the office

Level 3 Travel Consultant apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 functional skills in maths and English (if required)

  • Potential progression to a tour manager.
