Working within the busy Business Development office undertaking administration and other office duties that provide essential support to the department.


Working within the busy Business Development office undertaking administration and other office duties that provide essential support to the department.

Duties Will Include:

  • Manage the correspondence between Learner Engagement, Business Development and their clients 
  • Answer phone calls and schedule diaries
  • Provide Line Manager with regular updates on progress of admin work
  • Communicate customer feedback and progress against to Line Manager
  • Communicate with Line Manager to feedback any issues raised by clients regarding our services
  • Liaise with the team, making them aware of diary commitments, employer progress and milestones
  • Update The Source database regularly to ensure customer data is up-to-date and cleansed
  • Communicate vacancies on chosen job sites
  • Required to understand and apply departmental procedures and follow schedules
  • Required to input data and represent this to meet the needs of our funders
  • Responsible for processing manual or computerised data or for data systems
  • Responsible for communicating administrative progress to Line Manager
  • Offer support to Learner Engagement Team in order to fulfil annual targets
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and reported to our funding partners at the agreed time scales
  • Ensure all vacancies are advertised on relevant job boards within the agreed timescales
  • Any other duties that may be required of you from time to time
  • Operate Pics, DocuSign and other department platforms
  • Ensure all work is completed following GDPR rules 
  • Complete and support the Business Development Team to complete the collection of employer evidence for Apprenticeship and Traineeship delivery
  • Manage Meadowhall Malcom uploads and answer all linked enquiries
  • Support Learner Engagement, Director and Manager of Business Development with reporting from Vacancy Filler to aid in analysis of results

Training Provided

The successful candidate will study:

  • Level 2 qualification in Business Administration
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
  • Functional Skills if required 

This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessments as work based learning, within the workplace.
