Refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump engineering technician (apprenticeship standard)

Involved in the planning, installation and maintenance of refrigeration, cooling and heating equipment to include fluid chillers and pumps, air handlers, lennox units, buffer tanks, heaters and boilers. You will join an Advanced Apprenticeship Programme in our Temperature Control (TC) dept.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Our apprentices follow a three-year training scheme. The three years will consist of practical training in the various temperature control disciplines across all elements. This presents an excellent opportunity for the Apprentice to develop hands on-skills and begin a career in temperature control.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentices will be closely linked to a course of study at Bath College which will, at a minimum, lead to the attainment of an NVQ level 3 qualification.
