Job Description

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To give extra help to children that are struggling in the class to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • To help teachers prepare and maintain general and specialist equipment and resources
  • To attend meetings and reviews
  • To supervise pupils on visits, trips and out of school activities as required
  • To undertake other professional duties that may be reasonably assigned by the head teacher

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The apprenticeship is delivered as a day release at our campus in Stratford.
  • Full Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard
  • Behaviour, Skills and Knowledge
  • Functional Skills if required

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There are possibilities to progress onto a full-time role once the apprenticeship is complete.
