Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our Teaching and Learning Team at Jubilee Park Academy!


Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

To maintain the interest of children
Be a reliable member of the team, working co-operatively and with flexibility
Assist in offsite visits
Aiding pupils with special needs to access all subjects of the national curriculum and encourage their independence as learners
To develop excellent communications with parents and carers, encouraging them to participate in their child’s progress and development
To be aware and maintain policies and procedures
Preparation of rooms, equipment and displays
To assist with the creation of a stimulating and attractive learning environment
Motivating and encouraging pupils to behave well in and around school
To work with children 1:1 as required, including children with additional needs

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
Term time only - work 38 weeks (paid 43.452 weeks that includes annual leave pay)

Future Prospects

This is a Level 3 apprenticeship and this would provide successful candidates the opportunity to develop to a Learning Support Practitioner.
