To reinforce the excellent work of the teaching staff by supporting individuals or small groups both within and outside of the classroom environment.


What will the apprentice be doing?

• Supervising the activities of individuals or groups of pupils • Assisting pupils with a variety of personal self-help skills • Ensuring the Health and Safety of all pupils at all times • Preparing curriculum equipment and learning resources for the classroom and assisting pupils in the use of the resources and equipment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship – onsite and e-learning • Functional Skills (if required) • Any relevant on the job training requires to carry out main roles and responsibilites

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Possibility of permanent role.
