An opportunity to join the Suzuki Apprentice programme as an ATV Technician. You will work with a dedicated Suzuki dealer and attend training at our state of the art centre in Doncaster.

The Suzuki Advanced Apprenticeship Programme is the industry leading training scheme that firstly helps you find a real job with a Suzuki Dealer in your area, and secondly provides you with all the training you will need to become a fully qualified technician.

This is an opportunity to become part of the Suzuki Apprenticeship programme as an ATV Technician. Supported throughout by a dedicated employer - this vacancy is a 3 year pprenticeship that will result in the successful candidate gaining an Advanced Apprenticeship in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair.

As an ATV Motorcycle Technician, you would be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from:

  • Servicing and repairs
  • Replacing components
  • Using specialist equipment such as electrical and electronic diagnostics
  • Engine tuning equipment to measure performance
  • Rectifying faults on customers' vehicles in a busy Suzuki workshop

Full time position with the company. 

Reality Check

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution

Your training will be delivered as block release, which will involve extended periods away from home (1 week blocks). This is on a twin room basis, single rooms are available at an additional cost. The cost of travel and accommodation is met by the employer. 

Skills Required

  • No specific skills required, however, an interest in motor vehicles in the agricultural industry would be beneficial

  • Keen and enthusiastic
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good time keeping

Qualifications Required

GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A-C in:

  • Maths
  • English
  • Science

Training Provided

This is an ATV Motorcycle Technician Apprenticeship, training is delivered by block release at the Suzuki apprentice training centre in Doncaster, with assessments being conducted in the work place by an assessor. 

As a result, you will receive the following qualification:

  • Level 3 VCQ & VRQ Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Functional Skills in English, maths, ICT (if required)
