What will the apprentice be doing?
At Bakkavor, production never stops, we need to plan, manufacture and deliver onto shelves as quickly as possible, and our Supply Chain is a crucial part of this. Our Supply Chain Apprentices will receive hands on training in our end to end supply chain process. You will get to learn about:
Materials control
Production planning
Stock control and logisitics
Working in Supply Chain means working closely with other areas of the business such as Manufacturing, Development, Finance and Procurement so requires good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attain a Level 3 Diploma relating to Transport and Logistics as part of this programme.
Training will be Block release in Year 1 and Day release in further years.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon successfully completing this two year apprenticeship you will be guaranteed a full-time role with Bakkavor.
FMCG Supply Chain Practitioners could progress to management or specialist roles within the company.
