What will the apprentice be doing?
PalmerSport are the leading operator of prestige corporate motorsport events, owning and operating the Bedford Autodrome circuit complex. This new and exciting position requires an individual who ideally has sound knowledge of automotive and mechanical components, ideally with race car parts knowledge and who has the enthusiasm and flexibility to meet the varied and changing requirements of the role. This will include attendance at the race championship weekends. The successful candidate will be working as part of the warehousing team to keep the warehouse stocked with components for the championships and placing orders for parts and keeping track of invoices and expected delivery times. You will be supplying parts on race weekends and logging all deliveries and also checking stock levels on a stock management system.What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will gain the following qualifications: - Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship - Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required). You will also study a range of topics, including: IT, record and document production, decision making, planning and organisation, project management, policies, relevant regulations, stakeholders, processes and external environment factors.What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Core working hours are 8.30 - 18.00 in the week but hours are driven by business needs. You must be flexible and able to work some weekends and Bank Holidays, especially during the busiest time of year (typically March to October) along with early starts and late finishes where necessary at for events. In addition to supporting the race series on 8 to 10 weekends per year, PalmerSport driving events take place at Bedford Autodrome, so part of your time will be allocated to supporting the PalmerSport workshop team with parts supply when needed.Skills Required
