Job Description

You will be given training and support to enable you to be fully proficient in managing the stores, Handle goods in, Ensure the quality of housekeeping, Ensure quality and accuracy whilst performing any operation. Maintain stock integrity, correct stock moves and Perform quality, audit and other checks on products or storage locations as required.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Managing the stores, ordering stock from agreed suppliers, negotiating prices, developing price comparisons, taking in deliveries, replenishing shelves, stocktaking, issuing stock out via computerised system.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

NVQ level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse certificate based in depot one day per month based on 12 months 

in house forklift assessment 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Taking over the role as stores manager and into procurement.
