The Level 7 Solicitor apprenticeships herald a new era in solicitor training. Offered in conjunction with BPP University, they provide the chance to qualify as a solicitor following a 6 year programme of work-based learning and part-time study.

What will the apprentice be doing?

As you start the apprenticeship, you will begin with administrative support to our legal teams. This will include preparing documents, filing and drafting.

From there, you will progress on to completing junior level legal tasks such as research or attending client meetings.

Finally across the last two years, you will move to the level of a trainee solicitor and complete the same tasks as those on a the graduate route.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will study the content of the law degree and at the end of the apprenticeship will receive an LLB in Legal Practice. This is via day release on every Monday each week.

You will also complete all the necessary training to qualify as a solicitor, including the new Solicitors Qualifying Exam.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You will move on to become a qualified solicitor in the firm (subject to available positions) and from there continue to progress through your career within the firm.
