Job Description

If you have pride, passion and a true willingness to learn, then this is the ideal role for you. As part of this role, you will assist the Team Leader and the wider team with day to day administrative tasks, including but not limited to, creating presentations and generating metrics.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Working within the Technical Software Data Team, you will help provide first line tool support to our internal and external customers. Your team will be responsible for maintaining and developing JIRA, Confluence, DOORS and the CDAS flight data analysis suite. You will work in a team providing application support and development to varied programmes covering both Civil and Defence customers.

All you need to be able to apply is a keen interest in Software Engineering, and the following attributes:

The ability to work with others or own initiative
Good oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Working knowledge of MS Office® applications, including a basic knowledge Microsoft Access®
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
 

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The Apprentice will be working towards gaining the Digital Technologies Solutions Level 6. This role will support the achievement of this Apprenticeship along with the training provided by the chosen Training Provider.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Lockheed Martin UK has a number of development opportunities open to Apprentices, including the opportunity to progress with a higher level apprenticeship.
