Do you enjoy coding in your spare time? If you are keen to start a career in Software this could be the role for you. You will be working in a team of dedicated and passionate employees who will guide you through the apprenticeship. The role is based in Preston and comes with excellent in-house training and mentorship.


Roles & responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • 1st line support of Software issues
  • Coding under mentor's supervision
  • Troubleshooting
  • Working on Applications and bespoke Software and Business Tools
  • Testing Software Applications
  • Shadowing Senior Developers

Future Prospects

  • There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme
  • You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further

  • Minimum of Grade 4/C in maths and Grade 4/C in English Language, or equivalent, is required for this role

Training Provided

  • Advanced (Level 3) Software Development Technician Apprenticeship Standard
  • Full training and support will be provided throughout your Apprenticeship by the employer and provider
