What you will do in your working day

The team are the first point of contact for staff with an IT problem, you will learn how to:

  • Set staff members up on I.T systems and provide support when they need it
  • Deal with faults on mobile devices
  • Provide general advice on how to use your IT productively
  • Undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of user problems and issues, password resets, helping them use their phones, to more complex technical incidents such as user account queries, printer faults and software/hardware faults.


The training you will be getting

On this apprenticeship you will be trained to become a Service Desk Analyst and will be required to attend an Infrastructure Technician, level 3 apprenticeship training course either for 1 day per week or block training at Capital City College.


What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

At the end of this apprenticeship you will ready to work as a Service Desk Analyst in the digital industry or branch off in a different route.

Other Other in level 2 qual or eq or experience in IT (Grade A* - C or 9 – 4 or equivalent) Essential
