Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Scaffolder, you’ll spend four years receiving comprehensive training whilst you work as part of a qualified and competent scaffolding team. You will be trained to take responsibility for the safe and complex erection of working platforms at our sites.

What does the Apprenticeship involve?

You will undergo your training in both a College and production environment. You will learn the basic skills of using relevant hand tools and machinery together with the Health and Safety requirements for your role before progressing on to more in depth training in the use of scaffolding systems and techniques.

  • As an Apprentice Scaffolder you will receive comprehensive training in an on-the-job and off-the-job environment. This training will combine both the skills and knowledge you will require to qualify you as a Scaffolder, capable of erecting and dismantling standard and bespoke working platforms at both low levels and at height
  • You will start to learn about the structure of the company and will be given an insight into the world of Engineering. As you progress you will complete all of the components for your Apprenticeship

Future Prospects

A great job after completion. Around 95% of our apprentices choose to stay with us and go on to have really successful careers. You can choose to go for promotion and progression or continue learning in the role you’ve moved into.

When you successfully complete your apprenticeship, we will help you to move into a suitable role, subject to the requirements of the business.
