Job Description

Forest Of Arden Marriott Hotel in Meriden (Coventry & Warwickshire) have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales & Events Apprentice to join their dedicated team. As part of our family of associates you will host a blend of guests & events including weddings, golf, sports teams, corporate guests & leisure visitors.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Full training provided.

Responsible for incoming enquiries, from conversion through to seamless transition to operations for event execution and back to sales.
Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high level service through pre-event, during event and post event. Maximise revenue, conversion, drive repeat business. Adhere to sales and event brand standards for enquiry handling, event planning, pre & post event.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As an apprentice you will work towards achieving a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship specialising in Conference & Events. You will be visited in the workplace by Babcock training who will support you throughout the apprenticeship.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This role is for a at least the duration of the of the apprenticeship, with the possibility of a full time role being offerd to the right candidate.
