Job Description

Are you looking to develop a range of sales and administrative skills working for a dynamic company? The role of the Sales Administrator is to satisfy customer expectations by acting as the interface between customers, the sales team and the production planner and through the management of customer product enquiries.


What will the apprentice be doing?

The Sales Administrator Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Taking customer calls or enquiries & fielding calls to the rest of the company
  • Liaising with customers
  • Assisting with sales and marketing department initiatives
  • Managing and processing samples, quotes and sales orders
  • Building relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Monitoring and updating internal IT systems
  • Assisting with the organisation of company events

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Permanent position with good progression routes available upon completion dependent on skill & ability.
