Offering fantastic opportunities to join Surrey’s leading independent Brewery we are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and passionate individual to take on the challenge of developing our business in our Hogs Back Brewery shop.

This opportunity will give the right individuals fully paid work experience, backed up with tailored training and the chance to be a key member of a small team.

The brewery shop has been established for nearly 30 years and has a fantastic reputation locally. Since the pandemic the trading patterns have shifted significantly, including us opening up our new drive through and also developing the vital direct to consumer sales channels - web and ecommerce. In addition, we are developing our fresh beer delivered to your door home delivery initiative and the successful candidate will also be responsible for making this a successful new income stream.

The role will involve all areas of retail training, from customer service, stoke rotation and product knowledge to leadership and management.

Staff will also receive 30% of all purchases via the brewery shop and 20% discount in the bar

Future Prospects

Opportunities to progress in a small team to a management position are very achievable for the right individual.

Reality Check

Successful candidates are likely to live within 10-15 miles of the brewery but this is not essential.

Skills Required

You will have good communication skills.

Qualities Required

You will need to be bright, enthusiastic and capable of showing good initiative, self-discipline and determination.

Reliable, attention to detail, willing to learn.

Qualifications Required

Min. 5 GCSE's or equivalent, including maths and English.

Training Provided

Retail Team Leader Level 3, Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2 if required.
