complete ownership of your desk. A little bit like running your own business, we will teach you how to communicate with both types of clients to offer them an over and above service whilst helping businesses grow and placing the right candidate to support said growth. Yes, there are KPIs/ targets, but you will be fine and not worry about them when you do the other parts of the role to
perfection under our guidance.

Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Candidate sourcing & marketing – how to post jobs, communicate with clients, source the best and appropriate person(s) for the role giving your clients a choice suiting their ambitions and business plan
  • Negotiation – to be able to support your client and candidates to ensure the best solutions are met 
  • CV development – to support your client in producing the best CV that show cases their skills, ensuring they recognise their worth to themselves and to the employer
  • Scheduling interviews – how to negotiate and confirm interviews with both clients
  • Customer excellence – delivering a true experience of expertise and service to your clients, ensuring repeat and continued business 
  • Data input and ad hoc administration – learning our CRM system to execute your role effectively, whilst aiming to bring RT Group as a preferred supplier of qualified and effective candidates 
  • Payroll – understanding how our clients are paid when doing temp/ contracted roles
  • Growing your desk – contacting prospective clients and discussing our services and how you can support them, whilst aiming to achieve personal goals set by your line manager

  • 0-5 mths £10,000
  • 6-9 mths £13,000
  • 10-15 mths £15,000
  • Successfully completion Apprenticeship £18,000 + Commission
  • The working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 – 18:00, 1 hour’s lunch break

Future Prospects

  • Ongoing training and development, a real career with career progression once you have completed your apprenticeship. A full-time permanent role will be offered to you.

Skills Required

  • Experience – you DO NOT need to have any experience in this field, just an aptitude to learn
  • Very organised - whilst being confident with using IT applications

  • Proactive - enjoys or wants to be in a busy environment, wants to learn, not afraid to ask questions
  • Trainee – happy to learn on the job and undertake training to improve
  • Personality – a positive mindset and ‘can do’ attitude, getting involved and true team player
  • Ambitious – motivated to develop skills, progress, wants friendly competition and is money driven
  • Commitments – wanting to get back into work, raising children, co hanging career, we want to hear from you

Qualifications Required

  • English and Maths GCSE A-C/ 7-9 or equivalent
  • If you drive it would be advantageous but not essential as long as you can get to Hertford East station or catch a bus here. We are in the heart of Hertford
