What will the apprentice be doing?

Job Purpose

  • To recruit wonderful people who have a passion for giving, helping and caring for elderly people in their local areas. There are many ways to do this, all of which you’ll be enlightened on but being fun and creative often gets the best results

The Role

  • To make people aware of how amazing a career in care can be and the joy and rewards that it brings
  • To make Home Counties Carers the employer of choice
  • To write captivating and exciting job adverts for the various job boards
  • To monitor and action all responses from candidates that
    want a career in care
  • Working efficiently to allow results, looking for quality of candidates, not quantity
  • Create eye catching social media campaigns to educate candidates about what Home Counties Carers do and why they should work with us
  • Speak with candidates by phone communicate with candidates via WhatsApp, DM and SMS
  • Interviewing candidates to assess suitability
  • Enjoy time supporting the Care Managers and Care Coordinators
    with their constant need for friendly, reliable, trustworthy and competent Carers

The Person

No prior experience is required as on the job training is provided. However, you will need to demonstrate that you are:

  • Friendly
  • Reliable
  • Trustworthy
  • Competent

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Completion of Level 3 Apprenticeship standard in
Recruitment.

  • Level 3 NVQ diploma in Recruitment
  • Level 3 Certificate in principles of recruitment or Level 3 certificate in recruitment practices
  • Training to provided at work placement

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Potential to grow and progress into higher level recruitment roles such as team leader
  • Chances to also specify in a particular sector and section of recruitment
