Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
Supporting the Lead Engineer and Technical Officers in all technical matters associated with the planning and construction of the allocated multi-disciplinary sites.
Co-ordinating, with the guidance and support of the fully qualified Technical Officers and Engineers, all aspects of construction and associated works with the other disciplines.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Rail engineering technician Level 3 Standard apprenticeship.
During your Apprentice Scheme you will attend block release training and learn the more advanced skills of your technical specialism. You will support Lead Engineers, Supervisors and Team Leaders to deliver high value contracts for our customers and they will support you throughout your journey
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the Rail Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprentice Programme, there will also be the option to progress onto the Rail Engineering Technician Level 4 Apprentice Programme.
