Joining our small commercial team as a Degree Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you’ll assist with the management of all costs relating to our infrastructure services highways projects. You will be part of the efforts to keep Oxfordshire moving.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Learn to accurately review and assess payment applications from subcontractors against the works carried out

Work with internal and external teams to identify, manage and value changes

Support contract delivery by managing subcontractors and adhering to timelines

Build a strong and lasting relationships with subcontractors based on

good communication and trust

Measure level of works done

Work with numerical data in multiple software programmes to record payment applications and certificates

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Through day or block release, Skanska will provide support and funding to help you achieve your Level 6-degree qualification in Quantity Surveying

You will be assigned an experienced mentor to support your learning journey
