Initially you will work in our Surveyors office, learning basic surveying skills, spending time on site, attending meetings and getting used to site conditions as well as gaining hands-on practical experience.

Responsibilities

Vacancy Description

  • You will work for and alongside a variety of people as an apprentice surveyor within the Construction industry on any given contract
  • You will be an active member of the team, providing help and support where necessary
  • You will be involved in activity both in the office and on-site
  • You wll be using and developing skills and knowledge learnt through King Surveying Services and ARU on site in a surveying capacity

Future Prospects

  • Through King Surveying Services you will establish strong links in the Construction Industry and amongst other surveyors and contractors providing very good opportunities for future positions

Qualifications Required

  • 112 UCAS Tariff points (BBC at A level or equivalent) preferably in maths or technical subjects
  • 4 GCSEs at C/4 or above to include English and maths (or ESFA approved Level 2 equivalent)

Training Provided

The successful candidate will undertake a Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship at Anglia Ruskin University leading to the achievement of both a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying but you will also sit the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) enabling you to become a member of the RICS (MRICS).
