Job Description

The Quality Management System (QMS) is a key tool used by up to 400 colleagues across the company! It contains over 1,500 documents which are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they are accurate, and this role is key to ensuring the QMS integrity is maintained so that it can be a trusted source of up-to-date information.

Responsibilities

A typical day:

  • Develop, collate, and make available performance indicators for the assurance of SARG activity
  • Ensure the company document management system is maintained within company policy standards
  • Support the internal quality and compliance team with audit scheduling and general admin duties
  • Ensure the information within the system is produced in a format that meets company policy
  • Assist colleagues in understanding and using the system
  • Identify and implement improvements to the system
  • Learning the techniques and developing the skills to engage and collaborate with a wide cross section of colleagues
  • Understanding and getting to the root cause of failings and identify improvement activity
  • Developing and instigating performance indicators that reflect the efficiency of SARG and can be used in reports to senior management
  • Supporting colleagues to understand how the quality system should be used and influencing them to use this accurately
  • Developing an understanding of all the component elements and as a result gaining a good appreciation of the various aspects of the regulatory work the organisation undertakes

Future Prospects

After your Business Associate apprenticeship, you have the opportunity progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.

Skills Required

  • Strong ability in written English
  • Good attention to detail to identify inconsistencies
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office Packages

  • Ability to handle own time, seek problems and make decisions

Qualifications Required

Five GCSE grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including maths and English.

  • Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Business Associates apprenticeship
