Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
You will learn the basic principles of purchasing and how the department interacts with the business, participate in Engineering and Quality in the selection of suppliers, understand the principles of supply contracts, involvement in costs reduction activites and learn and investigate new/improved methods of supply chain practices. You will also have involvement in the co-ordination of engineering change management and understand the principles of engineering change on the supply chain.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will undertake the Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations Level 3 or Commercial Procurement and Supply Level 4 together with working towards your CIPS qualifications as part of your apprenticeship.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Bucher Municipal want to invest in your future. This apprenticeship will develop the skillset required to become a qualified procurement professional and to provide you with a broad exposure to a wide variety of purchasing and logistics activities during the apprenticeship term.
