The Property Negotiator will help actively secure instructions for the Homelet/Homesale business in the office in Chester and continually develop new business opportunities.


  • Marketing of Homelet/Homesale – being an ambassador of the company
  • Dealing with telephone and face to face interactions efficiently and courteously to maximise all opportunities.  This will include difficult issues and may require escalating risks/issues where necessary
  • Achieve pre-agreed targets (determined by Annual goals)
  • Communicate with Landlords/Vendors in relation to: Viewing feedback, detailed offers. To actively obtain property amendments/changes (including price reductions) in order to secure deals, through feedback. Accurately and efficiently maintain property information 
  • Maintain contact with active deals to ensure successful and efficient progression
  • Identify opportunities to increase Homelet/Homesale Market share and brand awareness/loyalty
  • Management of an effective applicant database ensuring regular contact
  • Identify areas where efficiency performance can be improved
  • Maintaining property, landlord/vendor and tenant/purchaser files on the manual and computerised systems ensuring attention to detail
  • Ensure all contractors are informed with accurate paperwork and necessary details
  • Attending viewings as maybe required
  • Conduct new landlord/vendor valuations as maybe required
  • From time to time perform duties outside of this job description reasonably requested of you

Future Prospects

We would like for the successful negotiator to do the National Association of Estate Agent exams (MNAEA) for sales and letting. Ability after 5 years to take the fellowship exams (FNAEA).  Progression from Property Negotiator to Valuer and Manager.

Training Provided
