Job Description

Bell Group have a well established apprentice programme. Our organisation provides an excellent platform for apprentices to learn, develop, and achieve their potential. You will undertake an industry recognised qualification and have a mentor appointed to support your progression.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Health and Safety inclusing safe Working at Height
Carry out repairs and reactive maintenance
Leaking taps or water testing and unblocking drains
Replacing damaged sockets, plugs, lighting and fuses
Maintain plant, safety systems and equipment
Energy, environment and sustainable practices
Safe use of hand tools
Understand and demonstrate the principles of Planned Preventative Maintenance
Understand the importance of customer service.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

In England all Bell Group Multi Trade Apprentices will work towards the Property Maintenance Standard (L2). This is an industry recognised qualification.

This is a 12-18 month programme with an End Point Assessment involving a practical assessment, multiple choice examination and assessor discussion.

Apprentices will attend college on a day release basis and colleges will be appointed based on best geographical location to the apprentice and/or place of work.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completion and achievement of your apprenticeship programme there are a wide range of career opporutnities within Bell Group.

These include roles such as working foreman, site supervisor, contract manager, junior surveyor, operations manager and branch manager.

We aim to support the internal progression of all our apprentices and you have access to explore these opportunities and associated training over the course of your apprenticeship programme.
