This exciting apprenticeship will give you the skills and knowledge to be an effective Project Planning and Controls Apprentice within the Bid and Project Management Function. The apprentice programme will provide a strong understanding and working knowledge of planning, scheduling, monitoring and controls.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Assist with the creation and maintenance of the integrated master schedules for assigned projects.
Contribute to project reports and attend associated reviews.
Assist in the deployment & reporting of risk & opportunity management.
Help the project team ensure correct and effective project governance is applied.
Operate Thales mandated tools including Primavera, Smartcore and Risk X.
To attend college as required and pass all examinations and continuous learning modules as specified by the course

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This is a two- year apprenticeship programme, working within our Bid and Project Management job family, as a Project Planning and Controls Apprentice. Over the course of the programme you will be supported to achieve a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Project Management.

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completion of the programme you will be working as a Project Planner/Controller within our Bid and Project Management job family.
