Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Would you like a career in project management seeing projects through from inception to delivery? In this apprenticeship you will work alongside an experienced team of project managers, business transformation analysts and project officers, working on a variety of  projects. Day to day, you’ll be making sure that projects are managed consistently, providing support and guidance on methodologies, templates and processes to colleagues across the council.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will study towards the level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard and will be practising the skills learned in your day to day job.

Your tutor will visit you at your normal place of work every 4-6 weeks. You will also need to attend block release for one week in central London during your first year. 

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

At the end of your apprenticeship you will be supported to further your career.
