Job Description

Project Controllers work directly in the business and functional areas. They are a key enabler to allow our Project Managers to deliver cutting-edge solutions to performance, cost and time objectives. They support with transforming a plan into a concrete schedule for delivery.


What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be responsible for;

  • Providing Senior Project Controllers with data and information to enable reporting and decision making in projects, including highlighting inconsistencies in the data/information.
  • Providing the following project controls functions within the project team; MS Project, lifecycle briefcase, project reporting, invoicing and other project document creation and management.
  • Work with the project team to monitor project finance, debtors, invoicing, cash collection and any other ad hoc tasks required.
  • Supporting Project Controls improvement activity, and sharing knowledge skills and best practice.
  • Attending and having a key input in project progress reviews and team meetings.
  • Supporting the project team in maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work.
