What will the apprentice be doing?
Throughout your apprenticeship you will learn to:
- Monitor the progress of projects currently being undertaken.
- Support budgeting and cost control, have an awareness of project budgets and build an understanding of planned and actual costs.
- Determine, control and manage changes to the scope of the project, including assumptions, dependencies and constraints.
- Understand the resources required to successfully deliver a project, including employees, sub-contractors
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be supported through a structured in house development programme and a range of classroom based workshops and virtual learning with Mercuri International to gain an APM Project Management Qualification, and become eligible to be an Associate member of the Association for Project Management (APM).
Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship you will be appointed a workplace mentor to support you with your learning.
