Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Completing all administrative processes for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Complying with operational requirements for service line and Firm corporate processes
  • Keeping CRM and related systems up to date
  • Data entry and filing for records management purposes
  • Working with colleagues to support CRM and team compliance requirements
  • Managing facility bookings for delivery of training workshops at Grant Thornton locations
  • Assisting with the delivery of events in conjunction with the marketing team

Future Prospects

After your Business Administration apprenticeship progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.

Skills Required

  • You have GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths at 4/C grade or above
  • You have excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • You have strong organisational skills
  • You have excellent IT literacy including MS Office skills, and experience in using Excel
  • You pay strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work

Qualities Required

  • You have some experience of undertaking minor research using various tools to identify key information
  • You are a self-starter and able to manage your own time effectively
  • You are comfortable using (or learning to use) a complex, centralised CRM system to log client data, client interactions, and use advanced find to query the data and generate reports for others to analyse

Qualifications Required

  • Five GCSE or equivalent grades C – A* (or 4-9), including maths and English

Training Provided

  • Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Business Administrator (BA3) apprenticeship
