  • Develop daily and weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met
  • Continuously review and maintain long- and short-term factory capacity planning to agreed targets
  • Regularly provide production status updates to management and facilitate the timely delivery of products to customers
  • Closely monitoring the production process to ensure production orders are completed on time
  • Effecting changes to production schedules/overloads, including the use of subcontract, to ensure that production deadlines are met, and customers’ requirements are delivered
  • Manage and/or develop supply performance in order to meet set targets for quality, delivery time, cost, and lead time
  • Participate in audits and follow-up the audit action plan
  • Gather and analyse spend and supplier performance data as well as execute benchmarking in order to continuously improve supplier performance
  • Take part in operations team continuous improvement events to drive productivity gains
  • Maintain a high OTTR and robust metrics deck
  • Produce a productivity pipeline

Future Prospects

  • The role could lead to a full-time position, although this is not guaranteed

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

  • Good understanding of MS office and Excel

Qualifications Required

5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above including maths and English or equivalents.

  • Company induction, mentor on site to provide ongoing training
