What will the apprentice be doing?
Apex is a multi-faceted organisation, working throughout the UK, serving Government, Military and other public sector clients as well as defence, industrial and many commercial customers. The apprentice will be required to understand in detail the CAD (Computer Aided Design) process from 2D drawing to full 3D working models, translate customers’ requirements into manufacturing requirements and work through the complete manufacturing process. You will also speak to customers to discuss requirements or resolve any issues, ensuring that quality/material yield and costs meet the original quotation and follow the specific Health & Safety procedures required within the role. The role will be split 50% in the office and 50% in the workshop.
