As an Apprentice, you will undertake a comprehensive Production training programme to learn all the tasks required of a member of our Production teams.
Responsibilities
- You will work towards an NVQ Level 2/3, spending your time on site supported by external training providers
- During this time, you will shadow experienced Production Operators, whilst helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency
- You will also be required to work on a range of projects across the site and prepare short presentations on your progress
Future Prospects
At the end of the apprenticeship Egger would hope to provide but cannot guarantee an ongoing position.
Skills Required
- For all our apprenticeships, we are looking for self-motivated learners with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be working with a range of departments
Qualities Required
- You must be motivated, with an enthusiastic desire to work in Engineering
Qualifications Required
- Good Standard of secondary education with 5 GCSEs at Level 4 or above including Maths and English (or the equivalent)
- Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
