Job Description

At HARTING Ltd, the Product Technical Support Apprentice will work within our Product and Applications Team reporting to the Product and Applications Manager. You will provide technical and engineering support to our customers and other HARTING personnel.



  • Develop technical knowledge in line with market trends and developments
  • Develop a good knowledge of HARTING products and services
  • Deliver technical engineering support to customers, internal/external on Value Added Business projects
  • Utilise all resources available to provide a professional and timely design service to all customers
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant specifications, legislation and procedures
  • Develop knowledge with IT software systems including SAP and CRM systems
  • Where appropriate, provide suggestions for improving original customer designs
  • Provide assistance to other members of the Product and Applications team as required
  • Assist with providing relevant technical training to our Internal Sales Department
  • General administration duties

Future Prospects

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE Standard Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) including maths and a science subject
