Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to apply for a 3 year Fast Track Procurement Apprenticeship position, based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. You will have the chance to gain a real understanding and develop your skills and competencies across a range of Procurement and Supplier management (P&SM) practices and procedures.


What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Take responsibility for supporting the P&SM team in their activities, such as project and contract management related activities, management of business support requests and maintaining an up-to-date view of key reporting and performance metrics.
  • Be a central point of contact in managing business partner queries relating to P&SM, working with the team to resolve
  • Support the new supplier set up process, ensuring that requests are correctly processed in line with governance requirements

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will work towards a 3 year Fast Track Procurement Apprenticeship gaining, on completion, a CIPS Level 4 Diploma. The programme will be delivered remotely, and you wil be given the neccesary (paid) time off during working hours to complete your studies.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Our intention is that you will remain with First Central on completion of your Apprenticeship, working within the P&SM Team.
