Do you want to be a police officer? Would you like to study for a degree in Professional Policing Practice – without tuition fees? Entry into the police service has changed – and Warwickshire Police is one of the first forces in the country to recruit officers to study for a degree apprenticeship while they work.

Responsibilities

As a police constable degree apprentice, you will study while you develop in the job role. You will spend 80% of your time learning while working on the job, and 20% of your time digitally enabled learning.

You’ll log onto our partner university’s system to watch lectures and access learning modules from your computer, without needing to travel to campus on a regular basis.

When you’re not studying, you will work with police colleagues on rotation across our teams. Daily duties will vary dependant upon your rotation and you will have the opportunity to gain experience as part of our neighbourhood policing, frontline response, and investigations teams.

You will be a part of our policing team from your first day and will be helping to solve some of the most serious crimes and catch those responsible.

Duties may include:

  • Responding to calls for help from the public
